Inviting Inner Peace Through Yoga

Updated: Feb 1, 2021

Nowadays, the busy world can easily make us feel stressful. Commitments, jobs, modern lifestyles and so on are making us feel exhausted to a point where we can no longer have peace with ourselves. Hence, this is when many will suffer from stress and anxiety. Yoga has been very helpful in keeping us at peace because of the benefits of it.

Ujjayi Breathing helps to calm your mind and to focus on your breath, it also helps to remove tension from your body, you can do this by keeping your mouth close, breathe in and exhale through your nose, when you exhale begin to tone the back of your throat by constricting the passage of air. This is a good breathing technique because it increases oxygen consumption.

When your body is relax, your mood will definitely feel much better! Doing Yoga poses may help you to uplift your mood. A Happy Baby pose is one of them! When doing all the poses in Yoga, it helps to improve the blood circulation in our body, which helps us to reduce our stress level and helps to boost the functions of hormones.

Our mindset is very important when doing Yoga. Yes, some of the poses will require us to do a lot of practice to master it. But remember to always focus on your mission which is to invite peace into your life through Yoga. Yoga does not only promote peacefulness, it also helps us to improve flexibility and body strength other than lowering the risk of us getting chronic diseases such as high blood pressure.

Never give up in being healthy because when you feel good about yourself you can improve your self image and self esteem. Remember to always maintain a good lifestyle in this hectic world!
