Body Rewild
Our Ashtanga community yoga sessions are guided by Vanessa, a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher.
Vanessa is a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher with 200 hours RYT from Yoga Alliance USA and 250 hours IYT from the Indea Yoga Institute in Mysore, India.
Since 2019, she has worked with clients ranging from working professionals to teenagers and young adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance use disorders.
Vanessa finds purpose in helping others discover joy in movement while ensuring safety and alignment. She is dedicated to empowering her community to move with purpose.

Sharing Vanessa's story
This photo of me in 2018 was when I was admitted to hospital for substance dependency. I was struggling with addiction & mental health, low self esteem & saw that I was poisoning my body because I did not love myself.
Through Ashtanga yoga, I discovered the positive effects of mindfulness on my journey back to wholeness. A year later, I completed an Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga training certification in Mysore, India (photo below). I found my purpose and began sharing the practice with those who resonate with the method.

PS, we have exciting news, Body Rewild's social media content curation is now partly powered by the females from the refugee community at Hope Learning Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. So excited to be working with this community to create more magic on topics about yoga, healing & travel.
